Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Is a complicated disorder characterized by extreme fatigue, which cannot be explained by any basic medical condition. The fatigue may worsen with physical or mental activity. The cause is unknown, although there are many theories - ranging from viral infections to psychological stress. Experts believe Chronic Fatigue Syndrome might be triggered by a combination of factors.

While there is no complete medication or treatment that can completely cure Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, It Is possible to treat the symptoms.

Tips to Manage the Symptoms

* Keep your activity on an even level. Avoid overexertion and emotional stress. Allow yourself time each day to relax. Yoga, meditation, or deep breathing can help manage stress and keep you fit.

* Improve sleep habits. Go to bed and get up at the same time each day. Limit daytime resting.

* Avoid taking caffeine and alcohol at bedtime these may affect sleep.

* Exercise regularly, but not close to bedtime. Experts suggest not exercising at least 3-4 hours before bedtime.

* Limit artificial light at night. Use low-wattage bulbs, cover windows, turn off the television, and avoid using phones and completer screens in the dark.

* Increase exposure to sunlight during the day. Spend time in the sunlight, remove sunglasses when it’s safe and keep the curtains open.

* Have a healthy diet. Eat foods that are high in fiber and fresh fruits and vegetables avoid packaged foods.
